Corporate Assessment (CA) is a process of examining the performance of local authority public services, focusing on good, robust, strategic arrangement being in place. CA measures the ability of the inspected body to engage with and lead its partners to deliver community priorities, whilst ensuring continuous improvement across services. A self assessment is submitted as part of the process and is used to determine priorities for the on-site stage of the inspection. CA forms an integral part of the Comprehensive Performance Assessments (CPA) process.
